Qualification / Eligibility Criteria

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor physics, especially MOSFETs.
Knowledge of FDSOI and FinFET is an added advantage.

Job Description

The Principal Engineer – Device Modeling & Characterization will work on semiconductor device modeling and characterization activities involving advanced MOSFET technologies. The role focuses on developing compact models, designing characterization structures, analyzing measurements, and correlating model behavior with hardware results.

The position requires strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics and experience with technologies such as FDSOI, FinFET, or Bulk MOSFETs. The selected candidate may also work with statistical modeling, RF characterization, and simulation tools such as HSPICE and Spectre.

Key Responsibilities

Design MOSFET characterization structures for compact model extraction.
Develop compact models for FDSOI, FinFET, and Bulk technologies.
Develop statistical Monte Carlo and fixed-corner models.
Prepare Model-to-HW correlation reports.
Run simulations using HSPICE and Spectre.
Perform device measurements and characterization activities as required.
Analyze semiconductor device behavior and modeling results.
Support model development and correlation with hardware measurements.
Work with cross-functional engineering teams on modeling and characterization activities.
Communicate technical findings and results effectively.
