Job Description
HPE is looking for a Software Systems Engineer – DevOps to contribute to the development and automation of modern software systems and cloud-native infrastructure. The role involves working with distributed systems, microservices, infrastructure automation, DevOps tools, and software development technologies.
The selected candidate will work with engineering teams to develop software, automate infrastructure and deployment processes, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support cloud-native environments, and improve system monitoring and observability.
The role also provides exposure to modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software using Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.
- Support cloud-native software development.
- Work with distributed systems and microservices.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Work with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure technologies.
- Support environments using KVM, OpenStack, or VMware.
